Merge PDF Files Online

Merge PDF files online in your browser. Use the arrow buttons to set the file order, then download one combined PDF. No upload or signup.

Your files stay in the browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Use cases and practical choices

Combine proposal materials, report attachments, training handouts or personal documents into one ordered file. Select pages and prepare page layout beforehand when required; merging is a final assembly step rather than text editing or page-size normalization.

Combine PDF documents in a specific order

Add at least two PDF files, then use the queue arrows to place the cover, report and attachments in the required order. The result contains all pages from each file in that sequence. Keep your originals and review the combined document before sharing.

How to merge PDF files

  1. Select at least two PDFs. Convert JPG or PNG attachments to PDF first; image files are not accepted directly by this merger.
  2. Inspect filenames and use the up/down arrows. The output includes every page of the first file, followed by every page of the next file in queue order.
  3. Remove duplicates and unintended files. If only part of an input is needed, extract those pages separately before adding the result to this merge.
  4. Merge, download and inspect the new document from cover to final page. Merging is not a promise of compression; understand the image-based compressor’s limitations before reducing file size.

Merge PDF FAQ

Can I combine a report, scanned pages and product attachments?

Yes, when each input is a readable PDF. Different page sizes can coexist, but the merger does not standardize them to A4 or change orientation. Convert image attachments first and review whether the recipient needs a consistent page layout.

How do I put a cover first or remove pages inside an input?

Move the cover file to the front with the queue arrows. This queue operates on files, not individual page thumbnails. Extract the needed pages in the split tool before merging when an input contains unwanted pages. Reordering files does not rewrite a printed contents page or page numbering.

Why is the output not smaller, or why did a document feature change?

Merging copies pages rather than recompressing all images, so size may remain close to the combined inputs. Document-level bookmarks, signatures and interactive forms must be checked separately. Keep originals, and avoid image-based compression when retaining selectable text is essential.

Are originals overwritten or uploaded?

The tool reads the selected PDFs in the browser and creates a new download. It neither overwrites the originals nor uploads them to the site server. Your browser determines the save location or save prompt; confirm the resulting file was actually saved before closing the page.
